Turkey Dinner – Halo series – turkey nuggets with avokado dip

Show/hide introduction

A Pillar of Autumn Turkey Dinner Recipe inspired by the Halo series. The ship, well-known to fans of the series, called UNSC Pillar of Autumn, had on board machines dispensing food and drinks. One of the dishes on the list was “Turkey Dinner” so we tried to loosely refer to the idea for the dish + we used the food colors associated with the image of the Master Chief himself, one of the most recognizable characters in the series. This is how we created the recipe for baked turkey nuggets coated in corn flakes with the addition of spicy sweet potato fries and a sauce based on avocado and cream cheese. The dip gives a great contrast to the spicy strips and fries, bringing the whole thing together into a complete and delicious meal, worthy of a real Spartan!
